FRIGHTS is a band we (Simon and Josh) founded to develop and demonstrate ideas around the creation and progression of culture, while fulfilling our need to make cool things. We will be producing a variety of content including music (lots of it), streams, social media, marketing guides, analytics, audience resources, etc. to demonstrate methods to DIY sustainable creative careers. Through this process we will be updating and evolving our approach and inviting our audience into the nitty gritty of ‘making it’.

DROP. was a creative collective of songwriters, musicians, sound designers, engineers and design thinkers. We were specialists in using music and sound to create emotional connections with audiences and advance culture.
Our clients included Sydney Opera House, Penguin Random House, STAN, Australian Broadcast Corporation and Netflix.

BNBC Pty Ltd (short for Brass Neck Broadcast) was a broadcaster that specialised in live sports broadcast for radio. Through our 5 years of operation, we produced weekly broadcasts for several clients in the Australian and Pacific regions. Highlights include broadcasting the 2019 Rugby World Cup from Japan and the development/delivery of commentary training to retiring players from several codes.
Our clients included Rubgy.com.au, Australian Institute of Sports, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Sport NZ, Rugby Australia, National Rugby League Australia and Football Australia.

As part of Triple J’s Live Music Team, Josh’s career has been distinguished by his work on such iconic segments including Like A Version and Triple J’s coverage of Splendour in the Grass. His tenure saw him contribute to the creative and technical intricacies behind the scenes, shaping the sound identity of the segments, and ensuring the seamless execution of high-quality audio experiences.
He has become a trusted name in the music industry after successful productions with artists including Childish Gambino, Mark Ronson, Tame Impala, Tones and I and Of Monsters and Men.
